It’s That Time of Year

F. 306 060 (2)

Every year around now people begin to think about both the past and the future. What things from the previous year they want to get rid of and what new things they want to implement in the coming year. I was watching a talk show last week and one of the guests said every year his family writes down what they want to dispose of and then throws it into a New Years Eve bonfire. I like that Idea. I only wish life were that simple.

I would write down financial struggle and toss that sucker into the fire so fast, if only I believed that would do the trick. Stress would be another. Now obviously you have to do more than just say I release this or that fear or emotion. I think it takes real work to implement what takes place in such a symbolic gesture. Still, I think it could be freeing and a starting point.

What do you think Have you any plans or resolutions for the coming year?
