I have returned from what was a wonderful break from life in the big city. While I was away I was allowed the freedom to distance myself from the day to day pressures that are inescapable at home. I breathed deep and enjoyed the open sky, but, alas, all good things come to an end.
I returned home to fill out financial aid packages for the college my daughter hopes, no, will attend in the fall. I was met by dead plants, a burned out dining room light and the everyday pressures that are just a fact of life. I was determined to move forward with a positive attitude, and to publish my next novel, which I have just about done. Hanging From the High Wire will be available in the next two weeks.
I have contacted numerous bloggers for reviews and/or the opportunity to write a guest post and now I have to see where that goes. I have several posts written and waiting. This leaves me twiddling my thumbs and wondering what else I should be doing. I’m sure there is something.
