Sunday Morning Five

DSC_0927

I’m going for it again, the five minute dump, a name my sister has laughingly told me is disgusting. She’s right of course, it does not paint a pretty picture, but lets move on. This past week has been okay, but not great. The good news is that we are (fingers crossed) only days away from getting our tax refund! Yay! The bad news is that we are flat broke and need that money pronto!

There are approximately 5 million things we need to do with that money and the reality is, we won’t even scratch the surface, but at least we will be able to breathe again and that’s a good thing. I like to breathe! Five minutes goes really fast.

  • Set a timer and write for 5 minutes.
  • Write an intro to the post if you want but don’t edit the post. This is writing in the raw.
  • Publish it somewhere. Anywhere. The back door to your blog if you want. But make it accessible.
  • Link your new posts to All Things Fadra (feel free to use her SOC Sunday graphic).

Money is such a stressor in people’s lives. Getting room to breathe, even if only temporarily, is such a good feeling. And yes, 5 minutes can go fast!!

We all need that breathing thing! Here’s hoping the mail delivers the “good” package!

  4. Sisters From Another Mister says:

breathing is always a good start … there have been many days lately i find myself barely breathing with the stress of life … so … in and out, in and out xxxx
